The Great Pacific Race – Doctors Without Borders

On Wednesday, February 15, Courtney Farber visited a Difference Makers meeting to talk about the Great Pacific Race.  A race in which members will row across the Pacific Ocean from Monterey Bay, CA to Honolulu, HI.  It is a distance of over 2400 miles and will take approximately 2 months to complete.  Her team is going for the world record.  The event is designed to help raise money and awareness for the organization Doctors Without Borders.
